The SIM tray on the Galaxy S24 Ultra slides into the bottom edge of the phone and holds two nano-SIM cards. A lost tray lets dust and water into the slot, and a bent or cracked tray can jam or fail to hold the SIMs, which causes 'No SIM' errors.
Fitting a new tray needs only the SIM eject pin. No heat and no opening of the phone are needed. The tray edge also helps seal the slot, so a good fit matters.
