How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Galaxy S26 Ultra, not Galaxy S26 or Galaxy S26+. The model number should read SM-S948B.
Play a video with Bluetooth off. If only the top of the phone makes sound, the bottom speaker is the likely fault.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the screws and lower cover, then lift out the old speaker module.
- Fit the new module, checking its contacts line up with the board.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtone, speakerphone and media before sealing.
- Refit the back glass with new adhesive and press evenly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
