What this part is
The Galaxy S6 Edge+ has its micro-USB port on a small board at the bottom of the phone. The port wears with use and can be damaged by liquid or a bent plug, so charging becomes slow, stops, or works only at an angle.
This board comes with its IC chip already fitted and is made for the Galaxy S6 Edge+ SM-G928F. Try a different cable and charger first, and clear lint from the port gently, before replacing the board.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About device. The model name should read Galaxy S6 edge+, not Galaxy S6 edge or Galaxy S6. The model number should read SM-G928F.
The S6 Edge+ has a 5.7-inch curved screen, larger than the 5.1-inch S6 Edge.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power off the phone and warm the back glass to soften the adhesive.
- Lift the back glass carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the lower cover and loudspeaker to reach the charging board.
- Unclip the connectors, lift out the old board and fit the new one.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and a computer connection.
- Refit the parts and back glass with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Galaxy S6 Edge?
No. The smaller S6 Edge (SM-G925F) uses a different charging flex, which we sell separately.
What does the IC on the board do?
The IC is a small chip fitted to the board. It comes already mounted, so you do not need to move any chip from your old board.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Galaxy S6 Edge+, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The glass back needs heat to remove, and several connectors must be unclipped with care.
