The loudspeaker in the Sony Xperia 10 II plays ringtones, alerts, media and hands-free calls. Water, dust and loud use can damage the speaker, so the sound becomes quiet, distorted or stops altogether.
Before replacing it, check the volume, turn off Do Not Disturb and clean the speaker grille gently. If the speaker is still silent or crackles but headphones or Bluetooth sound fine, the speaker is the likely fault. The earpiece used for normal calls is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia 10 II and the model number should be XQ-AU51 or XQ-AU52. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia 10 II has a 6-inch OLED screen and three rear cameras. It does not support 5G; the Xperia 10 III does.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Remove the screws and cover over the bottom of the phone, then lift out the old speaker.
- Fit the new speaker in the same position and refit the cover and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, test the speaker, then close the phone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Xperia 10 II?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Xperia 10 II (models XQ-AU51 and XQ-AU52). It does not fit the Xperia 10, 10 III or any other model.
Does it fit the Xperia 10 III?
No. The Xperia 10 III looks similar but has a different internal layout. This speaker is for the Xperia 10 II only.
How do I know it is the speaker and not a software fault?
Restart the phone and play a video at full volume. If headphones or Bluetooth work but the speaker is silent or crackles, the speaker is the likely fault.
Is it made by Sony?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Sony Xperia 10 II, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The phone must be opened carefully and the battery disconnected before the speaker is changed.
