The charging port on the Sony Xperia 10 IV is used every day. It wears out, collects pocket lint and can be damaged by a cable pulled at an angle. When it fails, the phone may charge only when the cable is held in place, charge slowly, or not charge at all.
This part replaces the port together with its board, so the socket does not need to be soldered. Before replacing it, try another cable and charger and clear lint from the port gently with a plastic tool. If charging is still unreliable, the port is the likely fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia 10 IV and the model number should be XQ-CC54. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia 10 IV has a 6-inch OLED screen and three rear cameras. Check the full name in Settings, as every Xperia 10 generation looks alike.

- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Remove the old part and fit the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect everything and test charging before closing the phone.
- Refit the cover and run a final check of charging and data.
