What this part is
The card tray on the Sony Xperia 10 V holds your SIM card and a microSD memory card. Trays are easy to lose when swapping cards, and they can bend or crack if they are pushed in the wrong way. A missing or damaged tray can stop the phone reading the SIM, and leaves an open slot where dust and water can get in.
This tray slides into the existing slot on the side of the phone. Choose the colour that matches your phone. If the phone still shows no SIM with a new tray and a working SIM, the card reader inside the phone may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia 10 V and the model number should be XQ-DC54.
The Xperia 10 V has a 6.1-inch OLED screen and three rear cameras.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Pull the tray out from the slot on the side of the phone.
- Remove the old tray, or any broken pieces left in the slot.
- Place the SIM and microSD card in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in gently until it sits flush with the edge.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM and memory card.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The Xperia 10 IV uses a different tray. This tray is for the Xperia 10 V only.
