What this part is
On the Sony Xperia L3 the USB-C charging socket is mounted on a small board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and moisture wear the socket, so the cable feels loose or the phone only charges at a certain angle.
This part is the complete board, so no soldering is needed. Before you replace it, try a different cable and plug, and gently clear any lint from the port with a wooden or plastic pick. If charging still cuts in and out, the board is the likely fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia L3, and the model number should be I4312 or I4332. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia L3 has a 5.7-inch screen and two rear cameras. The Xperia L4 is taller, with a 6.2-inch screen and three rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM and memory card tray.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Unclip the flex connectors and remove the screws holding the charging board.
- Fit the new board, connect its flex cables and refit the screws.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and a USB connection to a computer.
- Close the phone and run a final check of charging, the microphone and the speaker.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Xperia L3?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Xperia L3 (models I4312 and I4332). It does not fit the Xperia L4 or L2.
Does it fit the Xperia L4?
No. The Xperia L4 is a taller phone with a different charging board. We sell the Xperia L4 board separately.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. This is the full board with the USB-C socket already fitted. It connects with flex cables and screws.
Is it made by Sony?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Sony Xperia L3, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The phone must be opened with care and the battery disconnected before the board is changed.
