What this part is
The power and volume buttons on the Sony Xperia L4 press onto small switches mounted on one flex cable inside the side of the phone. If the switches wear out, or the cable is damaged by a drop or liquid, the buttons stop clicking or stop responding.
This flex cable carries both the power switch and the volume switches, so one part fixes all three buttons. If the outer button caps are missing or broken, they are separate from this cable.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia L4, and the model number should be XQ-AD51 or XQ-AD52. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia L4 has a tall 6.2-inch screen and three rear cameras. The Xperia L3 is smaller, with a 5.7-inch screen and two rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM and card tray.
- Open the phone and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Unplug the button flex from the board and peel it gently from the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position, with the switches lined up behind the buttons.
- Reconnect the battery and test power, volume up and volume down.
- Close the phone and check each button clicks cleanly.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Xperia L4?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Xperia L4 (models XQ-AD51 and XQ-AD52). It does not fit the Xperia L3.
Does it fit the Xperia L3?
No. The Xperia L3 uses a different button flex cable.
