The SIM and memory card tray on the Sony Xperia X Performance slides into the side of the phone and holds the nano SIM and a micro SD card. A bent, cracked or missing tray can stop the SIM being read, and it leaves the slot open to dust and water.

Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia X Performance, and the model number should be F8131 or F8132. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia X Performance and the Xperia X look alike and both have 5-inch screens, but the X Performance is water resistant and has a different frame. Check the model number carefully.

- Place the nano SIM and micro SD card in the new tray, with the cut corners lined up.
- Slide the tray in straight until it sits flush with the frame.
- Power on and check the SIM and memory card are both detected.
