The SIM card tray on the Sony Xperia Z3 holds your SIM card in the right position against the contacts inside the phone. A bent or cracked tray can stop the phone reading the SIM, and a lost tray lets dust and water in.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia Z3, and the model number should be D6603, D6633 or D6653. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia Z3 has a 5.2-inch screen. The Z3 Compact is smaller, with a 4.6-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Pull the old tray out of the side of the phone with a fingernail (no eject pin is needed).
- Place your SIM card in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray back in the right way round until it sits flush.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Xperia Z3?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Xperia Z3 (models D6603, D6633 and D6653). It does not fit the Xperia Z3 Compact, Z3+ or Z2.

No. The Xperia Z3 Compact is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the Xperia Z3 only.
Does it come with a flap?
Check the photos. The tray sits behind the side flap on the Xperia Z3; only the parts shown in the photos are included.
