- Power the iPhone 16 Pro Max off and open it with gentle heat and the right tools.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the loudspeaker and brackets over the charging port.
- Unscrew the port, lift out the old flex and fit the new one in its place.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging, data sync and the microphone.
- Close the phone with new adhesive and run a final check.
