What this part is
On the Tecno Spark Go 1, the charging socket sits on a small board at the bottom of the device. Daily plugging in, fluff and moisture wear the socket, so it may stop charging or lose the connection when the cable moves.
Replacing the part gives you a fresh socket. Try a different cable and plug and clean the port gently first, as a bad cable is a common cause. If it still does not charge with a new port, the battery or main board may need checking.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing
- It only charges when the cable is held at an angle
- Charging starts and stops when the cable moves

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Spark Go 1, and the model number should be KL4. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Spark Go range has several similar-looking models. Check the model is KL4.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the device off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover carefully using a plastic opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the screws and covers over the charging board.
- Unplug the old part, lift it out and fit the new one in the same place.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging and data, then close the device.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my Spark Go 1?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Spark Go 1 (model KL4). It does not fit the Spark Go 2024, Spark Go 2025 or Spark 30.
Does it fit the Spark Go 2024?
No. The Spark Go 2024 is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the Spark Go 1 only.
What does 'with IC' mean?
The board comes with its small charging chip already fitted, so no soldering is needed. Clean the port and try another cable first, as a bad cable is a common cause.
Is it made by Tecno?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board with IC made to fit the Tecno Spark Go 1, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The device must be opened carefully, and the battery must be disconnected first.
