How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover carefully using a plastic opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the screws and covers, then unplug and lift out the old button flex.
- Fit the new flex in the same position and reconnect it.
- Reconnect the battery, test every button, then refit the covers and back.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
