What this part is
Inside the Xiaomi 11T, the side button presses on small switches mounted on a thin flex cable. Drops, bending and moisture can crack the flex or wear out the switch, so the key stops responding or acts on its own.
If the physical key still clicks but nothing happens, the flex cable is the usual fault. Restart the phone first to rule out a software problem. On many Xiaomi models the power key also holds the side fingerprint sensor, so compare your old part with the photos before fitting.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read 11T. The model number (21081111RG) is shown in Settings › About phone › Detailed info and specs and on the box.
The Xiaomi 11T has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen and a triple rear camera with a 108MP main lens. The 11T Pro looks almost identical, so check the model name.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back glass to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and covers, then disconnect the battery.
- Unclip and peel out the old button flex from the side of the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position and press it flat against the frame.
- Reconnect the battery, test every button, then refit the back glass with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

How do I know it is the flex and not the button?
