What this part is
The SIM tray on the Xiaomi 12 Lite slides into the side of the frame and holds two nano-SIM cards. Trays are easy to lose when swapping SIM cards, and they bend if pushed in at an angle or forced out with the wrong tool.
A bent or missing tray can stop the phone reading your SIM and lets dust and moisture into the slot. This tray is shaped for the 12 Lite and pushes in flush with the frame. The rubber seal, where present, helps keep the slot clean.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read 12 Lite. The model number (2203129G) is shown in Settings › About phone › Detailed info and specs and on the box.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite has a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen and a triple rear camera with a 108MP main lens. The Xiaomi 12 and 12X are different phones.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push the eject pin into the small hole beside the tray and pull out the old tray, if fitted.
- Place your nano-SIM cards in the new tray with the gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray back in, level with the frame, until it clicks flush.
- Power the phone on and check that the SIM is detected.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
