How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mi 6. The model number (for example MCE16) is shown under All specs and on the phone's box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 has a 5.15-inch LCD screen, two rear cameras, a front fingerprint button and no headphone jack. The Mi 6X is a different, larger phone with a 5.99-inch screen.

- Power the phone off and warm the camera area gently to soften the adhesive.
- Remove the broken lens carefully, taking care not to scratch the cameras underneath.
- Clean away all old adhesive, glass fragments and dust.
- Fit the new lens using the adhesive and press evenly for a firm seal.
- Test every rear camera, including zoom and focus, before handing the phone back.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
