Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mi 8 SE. The model number is also shown there. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Mi 8 SE is the smallest phone in the Mi 8 range. Check the name carefully, as the Mi 8 and Mi 8 Lite look similar.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole beside the tray until the tray pops out.
- Remove the old tray and place your SIM cards in the new one, with the gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray back in fully, power on and check that the SIM cards are detected.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
