What this part is
The loudspeaker in the Xiaomi Mi 9 sits at the bottom of the phone and plays ringtones, alarms, media and speakerphone calls. Drops, water and dust in the grille can damage it, so sound becomes quiet, distorted or stops.
This is not the earpiece you hold to your ear on calls. Before replacing it, clean the speaker grille gently and check the volume and Do Not Disturb settings. If sound is still poor, the loudspeaker needs replacing.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Mi 9. The model number is also shown there. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Mi 9 has three rear cameras. The Mi 9 SE also has three, but it is a smaller phone, so check the name carefully.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the Mi 9 glass back to soften the adhesive and lift it off slowly with a thin pick.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Remove the screws holding the loudspeaker module at the bottom of the phone.
- Lift out the old loudspeaker and fit the new one, making sure it sits flat and makes contact.
- Reconnect the battery, test ringtones, media and speakerphone, then close the phone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Mi 9?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Mi 9. It does not fit the Mi 9 SE, Mi 9 Lite, Mi 9T or any other model.
Does it fit the Mi 9 SE?
No. The Mi 9 SE is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the Mi 9 only.
Will this fix the sound on normal calls?
Not usually. Normal calls use the earpiece at the top of the phone. This loudspeaker handles ringtones, media and speakerphone.
Is it made by Xiaomi?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Xiaomi Mi 9, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The glass back is glued on and needs heat to remove, and the battery must be disconnected first.
