What this part is
Inside the Xiaomi Redmi 12, the power and volume buttons press on small switches mounted on a thin flex cable. Drops, wear and moisture can crack the flex or wear out a switch, so a button stops clicking or does nothing.
This part replaces that flex cable. It does not include the outer button caps, which usually stay in the frame. If a button is stuck because the frame is bent, the frame may also need attention.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Redmi 12. The model number is also shown there. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Remove the SIM tray, then release the back cover carefully with a thin pick, warming the edges first if it is glued.
- Remove the screws and inner cover, then disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unplug and carefully lift the old button flex from the side of the Redmi 12 frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position so each switch lines up under its button.
- Reconnect the battery, test power and both volume buttons, then close the phone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Redmi 12?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Redmi 12. It does not fit the Redmi 12C, Redmi 13C or any other model.
Does it fit the Redmi 12C?
No. The Redmi 12C is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the Redmi 12 only.
Does it include the button caps?
No. This is the flex cable with the switches. The outer button caps normally stay in the phone and are reused.
