What this part is
On the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, the micro-USB charging socket sits on a small board at the bottom of the phone. Daily plugging in, fluff and moisture wear the socket, so charging can cut in and out when the cable moves.
Replacing the board gives you a fresh socket. Try a different cable and plug and clean the port gently first, as a bad cable is a common cause. If the phone still does not charge with a new board, the battery or main board may need checking.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Redmi 6 Pro. The model number is also shown there. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Redmi 6 Pro has a notch at the top of the screen and two rear cameras. The Mi A2 Lite uses the same hardware.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Remove the SIM tray, then release the back cover carefully with a thin pick, warming the edges first if it is glued.
- Remove the screws and inner panel covering the bottom of the phone.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unplug the board's flex cables, lift out the old Redmi 6 Pro board and fit the new one in the same place.
- Reconnect the battery, test charging and data, then refit the panel and close the phone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Redmi 6 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Redmi 6 Pro. Also fits the Mi A2 Lite, which uses the same board. It does not fit the Redmi 6, Redmi 6A or any other model.
Does it fit the Mi A2 Lite?
Yes. The Mi A2 Lite is built on the same hardware as the Redmi 6 Pro and uses the same part.
Should I try cleaning the port first?
Yes. Fluff in the socket often stops the plug going fully in. Clean it gently with a wooden or plastic pick, never metal, and try another cable. If charging is still faulty, the board needs replacing.
Is it made by Xiaomi?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover must be removed carefully and the battery disconnected before the board is unplugged.
