What this part is
The side keys on the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C are the parts you press on the edge of the phone. They sit in the frame and push on switches mounted on a flex cable inside. A drop can crack or knock out a key, and dirt can leave one stuck or wobbly.
This part is the external buttons only. If the keys are in place but pressing them does nothing, the power and volume flex cable is usually the fault, and that is a separate part. Choose the colour that matches your phone.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Redmi 9A or Redmi 9C. Tap All specs for the full model name and model number (M2006C3LG or M2006C3MG). Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the edges of the back cover and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the covers and screws, then disconnect the battery.
- Take out the old button caps from inside the frame.
- Seat the new buttons in the frame, check they click against the flex switches, then reconnect the battery.
- Test power, volume up and volume down before refitting the back cover.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Redmi 9A. The same buttons also fit the Redmi 9C.
Does it fit the Redmi 9?
No. The Redmi 9 uses different side keys. This set is for the Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C.
My buttons are in place but do nothing. Will this fix it?
Probably not. This set is the external buttons only. If pressing them does nothing, the power and volume flex cable underneath is the likely fault.
Is it made by Xiaomi?

Should I fit it myself?
