The iPad 5th Gen introduced Apple Pencil 1st Generation support — check your generation carefully as it shares the same screen size as the iPad 6th Gen (2018) but uses different model numbers.

Technical Specification

Before You Buy

This is the LCD panel only — it does not include the front glass digitizer. The non-laminated construction of the iPad 5th Gen means each display layer can be replaced independently. If the front glass is also cracked, you will need the touch digitizer separately. This LCD is for the iPad 5th Gen (2017) and is not interchangeable with the iPad 6th Gen (2018) LCD despite sharing the same screen dimensions.

Installation Notes

The front digitizer glass must be removed before the LCD can be accessed. Apply heat to soften the edge adhesive before prying. Transfer the Home button from the original assembly. Professional installation is recommended. We will not accept returns on installed parts.
