The 6th Generation iPad 9.7 introduced Apple Pencil (1st Gen) support — check your generation carefully before ordering.

Before You Buy

This is the LCD panel only — it does not include the front glass digitizer. The iPad 6th Gen uses a non-laminated display where the LCD and digitizer are separate, enabling cost-effective single-layer repairs. If the front glass is also cracked, you will also need the touch digitizer.

This part is for the iPad 6th Generation (2018) 9.7 inch only. It is not compatible with the 5th Generation iPad 9.7 (2017) despite sharing the same screen size.

Installation Notes

Accessing the LCD requires careful removal of the front digitizer glass using a heat mat and prying tools. Transfer the Home button from the original assembly. Professional installation is recommended. We will not accept returns on parts that have been installed.
