This assembly includes the front glass digitizer together with the IC chip soldered to the flex cable — a more complete replacement than a standard digitizer glass that requires re-soldering. Compatible with both iPad mini 1st Generation and iPad mini 2 (Retina) due to their shared digitizer design.

Technical Specification

Before You Buy

This assembly includes the digitizer IC chip pre-attached — it does not require IC re-soldering during installation. This part replaces the front glass touch layer only. The LCD beneath is a separate component. If the LCD is also damaged, you will need the LCD panel separately.

Installation Notes

The iPad mini front glass is held with perimeter adhesive. Gentle heat application is required to loosen the bond. The Home button must be transferred from the original assembly. Professional installation is recommended. We will not accept returns on parts that have been installed.
