What this part is
The display FPC connector is the small socket on the main board that the screen cable clicks into. If it is forced or damaged, some pins can break or bend, and the screen may stay black, show lines or lose touch even with a new display fitted.
This part is the board-side connector only, not a screen or a flex cable. It must be removed and soldered in place with hot air and a microscope, so this is a job for a micro-soldering technician.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 13 mini. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A2481).
The iPhone 13 mini has a 5.4-inch screen and two rear cameras set diagonally. The iPhone 12 mini is the same size, but its cameras sit in a vertical line.

How a technician fits this part
- Power off, open the phone and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the main board and fix it in a board holder under a microscope.
- Remove the damaged connector with hot air and clean the pads.
- Solder the new connector in place and check every pin for bridges.
- Refit the board and test the display and touch before sealing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
