Overview
What this part is
The rear LED flash on the iPhone 13 Pro sits on its own thin flex cable beside the rear cameras. If the phone has been dropped, the back glass is broken, or the flex was pinched during an earlier repair, the torch and camera flash can stop working.
This part replaces the flashlight flex cable. If the torch is greyed out in Control Centre or the camera also fails, the fault may be elsewhere, such as the rear camera or main board.

Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 13 Pro off, remove the two pentalobe screws beside the charging port and warm the edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the brackets covering the rear camera area and disconnect the old flashlight flex.
- Fit the new flash flex, seat the connector firmly and refit the brackets and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, then test the repair before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Test the torch from Control Centre and the flash in the Camera app.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Will this fit my iPhone 13 Pro?
Yes, if Settings › General › About shows iPhone 13 Pro. It fits models A2638, A2483, A2636, A2639 and A2640. It does not fit the iPhone 13 Pro Max or iPhone 13.
Does it fit the iPhone 13 Pro Max?
No. The iPhone 13 Pro Max uses a different part. This one is made only for the iPhone 13 Pro.
Will this fix a torch that is greyed out?
Not always. A greyed-out torch on the iPhone 13 Pro can be a software or camera fault. This flex fixes a flash that stays dark because the flex itself is damaged.
Is it made by Apple?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality flashlight flex cable made to fit the iPhone 13 Pro, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening an iPhone needs heat, pentalobe and tri-point screwdrivers and new adhesive, and the battery must be disconnected safely.
How quickly will it arrive?
Orders placed before 4pm on a working day are dispatched the same day from Manchester by Royal Mail Tracked. Delivery is free on UK orders over £5. You can also collect from our shop at 33 Moulton Street, Manchester M8 8FQ.
