What this part is
The side (power) button on the iPhone 15 Plus presses against a small switch on a flex cable inside the frame. A drop, liquid damage or a torn flex during another repair can leave the side button dead or unreliable.
This part replaces that flex. If the button feels stuck or loose, the fault may be the metal button cap rather than the flex.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 15 Plus. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A3094).
The iPhone 15 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen, two rear cameras and a USB-C port. The iPhone 15 is smaller, with a 6.1-inch screen.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 15 Plus off, remove the two pentalobe screws beside the charging port and warm the edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the parts covering the button flex and peel the old flex carefully away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex, line up each switch with its button and seat the connector firmly.
- Reconnect the battery, then test the repair before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Test the side button: lock, wake, Siri and power off.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
