What this part is
The power (side) button on the iPhone 16 Plus works through a thin flex cable that runs inside the frame. If that flex is torn, worn or corroded after liquid damage, the button can feel dead, press only some of the time, or trigger by itself.
This part replaces that internal flex cable. The outer metal button is not included unless shown in the photos. The screen has to come off to reach the flex, so the job needs care with the adhesive and the small connectors.

How to check your model
Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 16 Plus. Tap the model number to see the A-number (for example A3082).
The iPhone 16 Plus has a 6.7-inch screen and two rear cameras. The iPhone 16 is smaller, with a 6.1-inch screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 16 Plus off, remove the two pentalobe screws next to the charging port, then warm the screen edges to soften the adhesive.
- Open the display carefully and disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the brackets and parts covering the button flex, then unclip and lift the old flex from the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position, press any adhesive down and refit the brackets and screws.
- Reconnect the battery and display, then test every button press before sealing.
- Apply new adhesive, close the phone and press evenly while it cures.
- Check lock, wake, and the SOS press work normally.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
