What this part is
The SIM card tray holds your nano-SIM in the side of the iPhone 16e. Trays are easy to lose, bend or scratch, and a bent tray may not sit flush or may not hold the SIM firmly against the contacts.
This is a replacement nano-SIM tray. UK models of the iPhone 16e take a nano-SIM in this tray as well as eSIM. US models are eSIM-only and have no tray. It pushes into the slot by hand, and you use a SIM eject pin to remove it again. No heat or tools are needed to open the phone.

Open Settings › General › About. The model name should read iPhone 16e. Tap the model number to see the A-number and compare it with the box.
The iPhone 16e has a 6.1-inch screen and a single rear camera. The iPhone 16 has two rear cameras.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the iPhone 16e off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole beside the tray to release the old tray, if one is fitted.
- Place your nano-SIM in the new tray, gold contacts facing down, matching the cut corner.
- Slide the tray straight into the slot until it sits flush with the frame.
- Power the phone on and check the network signal appears.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my iPhone 16e?

No. The iPhone 16 uses a different sim card tray. This part is listed only for the iPhone 16e.
Will this fix a No SIM message?
Only if the old tray was bent or missing and the SIM was not sitting properly. If a No SIM message stays with a good tray and SIM, the SIM reader or main board is the likely fault.
