The Google Pixel 9 Pro XL holds its nano-SIM in a small tray on the side of the frame. Trays get lost when swapping SIM cards, or bend when pushed in at the wrong angle. A bent tray can stop the SIM being read or leave a gap in the frame.
This tray is shaped for the Pixel 9 Pro XL slot and comes in several colours to match the frame. It is a simple swap: eject the old tray, place the SIM in the new one and push it home. The SIM slot and reader inside the phone are not part of this item.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The device name should read Pixel 9 Pro XL, not Pixel 9 Pro. The model code (GGX8B) is shown in Settings › About phone › Regulatory labels and on the box.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL has a 6.8-inch screen and three rear cameras. The Pixel 9 Pro is smaller (6.3-inch).

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole beside the tray and pull the old tray out.
- Place your nano-SIM in the new tray with the cut corner matching the tray shape.
- Slide the tray straight into the Pixel 9 Pro XL slot until it sits flush. Do not force it.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM and connects to the network.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
