What this part is
The Honor 6A uses one flex cable for the power button and the volume up and down buttons. The contacts on this cable wear out with daily use, or crack after a drop. When that happens, the buttons feel normal but do nothing, or only work when pressed hard.
This flex cable replaces the switches behind the buttons. If the outer button caps are missing or bent, those need replacing separately. Restart the phone first to rule out a software fault.

Is this the right part?

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Honor 6A, not Honor 6X, Honor 6C or Honor 7A. The full model code is also shown there and on the phone box.
The Honor 6A was sold under the Huawei Honor name. Older units may list the maker as Huawei.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the Honor 6A with the correct method for this model, using gentle heat and a thin opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Remove the parts covering the side button flex, then peel away the old flex cable carefully.
- Fit the new flex cable in the same position, reconnect it and reconnect the battery.
- Test power, volume up and volume down before closing and sealing the phone.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
