What this part is
The charging port on the Honor 9 Lite wears out with daily use. Pins bend, the socket loosens, and pocket lint or liquid damage can stop the phone charging. Because the connector is soldered to its own board, the simplest fix is to replace the whole board.
This board is brand new and tested before dispatch. The technician removes the back, unplugs the battery, swaps the board and reconnects its flex cable. Clean the port with a wooden toothpick and try another cable before you order, as a dirty port or a faulty cable can look like a broken board.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing
- The phone does not charge with a known good cable and plug

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read Honor 9 Lite (it may show as Huawei Honor 9 Lite on older software), not Honor 9 or Honor 9X. The full model code is shown on the same screen and on the label of the phone box.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the back cover or rear housing carefully.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the charging board flex, remove its screws and lift the old board out.
- Fit the new board, secure it and reconnect the flex cable.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and a USB data connection before closing.
- Refit the cover and check charging, speaker and microphone once more.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
