Open Settings › About tablet and check the device name. It should read Honor Pad X7, with model JMS-W09, not Honor Pad X8 or Honor Pad X9.
This part is for the 8.7-inch Honor Pad X7 released in 2025, model JMS-W09. Larger Honor Pad X-series tablets use different parts.

- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Remove the covers over the charging board, disconnect its flex cables and lift the old board out.
- Fit the new board and reconnect every cable.
- Test charging, data and calls before closing, then reseal the tablet.
