What this part is
The SIM card tray slides into the side of the Huawei P20 and holds your SIM cards. If the tray is lost, bent or cracked, the cards can sit badly and the phone may show no SIM or drop signal.
A new tray keeps the cards flat and the slot sealed. Fitting it takes seconds with a SIM eject pin. If the phone still shows no SIM with a new tray and a known good card, the SIM reader inside may be damaged.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P20 and the model number should start EML-.
The P20 has a 5.8-inch screen and two rear cameras. The P20 Pro has three rear cameras.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Push a SIM eject pin into the small hole next to the tray to release it.
- Place your cards in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in straight until it sits flush with the frame.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Huawei P20?
Yes, if your model number is EML-L09 or EML-L29. Check it in Settings › About phone.
Does it fit the Huawei P20 Pro?
No. The P20 Pro (CLT-) is larger and has a different body and layout. This part is for the P20 (EML-) only.
Can I use a microSD card with this tray?
No. The Huawei P20 does not support microSD cards. This tray holds SIM cards only.
Is it made by Huawei?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality sim card tray made to fit the Huawei P20, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Can I fit it myself?
Yes. A SIM tray needs no tools apart from a SIM eject pin. Power the phone off, remove the old tray and slide the new one in.
