What this part is
The charging port on the Huawei P40 Lite E wears with daily plugging in, and lint, moisture or a dropped cable can damage the pins. When the port fails, the phone may charge slowly, stop and start, or not charge at all.
This part is the complete charging port board, with the USB-C socket already fitted. Replacing the whole board is more reliable than repairing a single socket. Before you buy, try a different cable and charger and gently clean the port, as a dirty port can cause the same faults.

Is this the right part?
Signs it needs replacing

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model name should read P40 Lite E and the model number ART-L29, not P40 Lite.
The P40 Lite E has a teardrop notch at the top of the screen. The P40 Lite has a punch-hole camera in the top-left corner.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the P40 Lite E off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the phone using the correct method for this model, warming any glued panel to soften the adhesive.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unscrew and lift out the old charging port board, noting the routing of any cables.
- Fit the new board, reconnect everything and test charging and USB data before closing.
- Close the phone, sealing any glued panel with new adhesive, and run a final check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Yes, if Settings › About phone shows P40 Lite E (model ART-L29). It does not fit the P40 Lite.
