What this part is
On the Huawei Y7 2019 the charging port sits on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board, so the whole board is swapped as one part and the port itself does not need soldering. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read DUB-LX1 or DUB-LX3.
The Y7 2019 has a 6.26-inch screen with a small notch. The Y7 2018 (LDN models) is a different phone with a different charging board.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Huawei Y7 2019 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover with a plastic opening tool, then remove the screws holding the lower cover.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the main flex cable from the old charging port board and lift it out.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cable and refit the lower cover and screws.
- Reconnect the battery, refit the back cover, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
