What this part is
On the Lenovo P2 the charging port sits on a small sub-board at the bottom of the phone, joined to the main board by a flex cable. Daily plugging in, pocket lint and drops wear the port out, and the phone stops charging reliably.
This is the complete charging port board, so the whole board is swapped as one part and the port itself does not need soldering. If the phone still does not charge with a new board and a known good cable, the battery or main board may be at fault.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read P2a42 or P2c72.
The Lenovo P2 has a 5.5-inch screen and a large 5100mAh battery. The older Vibe P1 is a different phone.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Lenovo P2 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the screws at the bottom edge, then lift the back cover off with a plastic opening tool.
- Disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Unplug the flex cable from the old charging port board, remove its screws and lift it out.
- Fit the new board, reconnect the flex cable and secure the screws.
- Refit the back cover, power on and test charging with a known good cable.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Lenovo P2?
Yes, if your model is P2a42 or P2c72.
Does it fit the Lenovo Vibe P1?
No. The Vibe P1 is an older phone with a different charging board.
Do I need to solder anything?
No. This is a complete board with the port already fitted. It connects with a flex cable and screws.
Is it made by Lenovo?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality part made to fit the Lenovo P2, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Lenovo P2 has to be opened carefully, and the battery must be disconnected before the new board is connected.
