What this part is
The loudspeaker on the LG V30 plays ringtones, alarms, music and speakerphone calls. After drops or liquid damage it can sound distorted, rattle or go silent, while the earpiece used for normal calls still works.
This part replaces the loudspeaker unit. Before fitting it, check that the phone is not stuck in headphone mode and clean the speaker grille gently, as a blocked mesh can cause the same symptoms.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone (on some versions Settings › General › About phone) and check the model name reads LG V30.
The V30 has a 6-inch OLED screen and a glass back. The V30 is not the same as the V35 ThinQ.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the LG V30 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges gently and lift it off with a plastic opening tool and suction cup.
- Remove the screws holding the inner cover, then disconnect the battery connector before touching any other part.
- Remove the lower speaker housing screws and lift out the old loudspeaker.
- Fit the new loudspeaker so its contacts line up with the board.
- Refit the covers, reconnect the battery and test ringtones and media sound before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my LG V30?

Does it fit the LG V20?
No. The V20 is a different phone with a different loudspeaker. We list it separately.

Only on speakerphone. The earpiece you hold to your ear on calls is a separate part.

Should I fit it myself?
