What this part is
The side buttons on the Moto G62 5G press onto small switches mounted on a thin flex cable inside the frame. If a switch wears out, or the cable is torn or corroded, the power or volume buttons stop working even though the outer keys look fine.
This flex carries both the power switch and the volume switches. If a button is stuck because the outer key is bent or jammed with dirt, clean it first. If it still does nothing, replacing this flex is the usual repair.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Moto G62 5G, not Moto G52 or Moto G72. The model number is also shown there and on the box. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and plate, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Unclip the old button flex from the side of the Moto G62 5G frame and disconnect it.
- Place the new flex so each switch lines up with its button, then reconnect it and the battery.
- Test power and both volume buttons, then refit the covers with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
