What this part is
The Nintendo Switch OLED charges through a USB-C port on the bottom edge, soldered directly to the main board. Worn pins, bent contacts, forcing the console into a dock or using the wrong charger can damage the port, and the console stops charging or charges only at an angle.
This is the USB-C connector itself, not a board. The old port has to be removed from the main board with hot air and the new one soldered in place. This needs microsoldering skill and equipment. If the console still does not charge after a new port, the charging chip on the main board may also be damaged.

Is this the right part?

How to check your model
Turn the console over and read the model number printed on the back. It should read HEG-001.
The Switch OLED model has a 7-inch OLED screen.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the console off fully and remove any Joy-Con controllers and game card.
- Remove the back cover screws and open the console carefully.
- Disconnect the battery before any other work.
- Remove the parts covering the port, then take the main board out.
- Remove the old USB-C port with hot air and clean the pads.
- Solder the new connector in place and check every pin for bridges.
- Reassemble, reconnect the battery and test charging with a known good charger.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Nintendo Switch OLED?
Yes, if the model number on the back of the console reads HEG-001. It does not fit the Nintendo Switch Lite (HDH-001).
Does it fit the Nintendo Switch Lite?
No. The Switch Lite uses a different charging port. This connector is listed for the Switch OLED.
Do I need to solder it?
Yes. This is a bare USB-C connector that is soldered to the main board. It needs hot air, a soldering station and microsoldering skill.
Is it made by Nintendo?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port connector made to fit the Nintendo Switch OLED, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Removing and soldering the port can damage the main board if it is not done correctly.
