What this part is
On the Nokia G22 the side power and volume buttons press on small switches mounted on a thin flex cable inside the frame. A drop, water or years of daily use can break the switches or crack the cable, so a press does nothing or works only sometimes.
This is the complete flex cable with the switches already fitted. The outer metal or plastic button caps are not included; you keep your existing ones. If the buttons still do not work after fitting, check the connector and the main board.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Nokia G22. The model number starts TA- and is also shown there.
The G22 was designed to be easier to repair, with a back cover that can be opened with a plastic pick.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the Nokia G22 off and remove the SIM tray.
- Open the plastic back cover carefully with a plastic pick, working around the edges.
- Remove the screws and inner cover, then disconnect the battery before touching any other part.
- Carefully unplug the button flex connector and peel the old flex away from the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position, with each switch lined up under its button, and plug it in.
- Refit the covers, reconnect the battery and close the phone.
- Power on and test the power and volume buttons.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Nokia G22?
Yes, if Settings shows Nokia G22. It does not fit the Nokia G21.
Does it fit the Nokia G21?
No. The G21 is a different phone with a different internal layout. This part is for the G22 only.
Are the button caps included?
No. This is the internal flex cable with the switches. You reuse the outer button caps from your phone.
Is it made by Nokia?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality button flex cable made to fit the Nokia G22, and every part is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The Nokia G22 has to be opened carefully and plastic tools, and the battery must be disconnected before the new part is connected.
