- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover edges and lift it off carefully with a thin pick.
- Remove the screws and plastic cover plate, then disconnect the battery before anything else.
- Remove the parts that cover the button flex and lift the old flex from the frame.
- Fit the new flex in the same position, with each switch lined up behind its button.
- Reconnect everything and the battery, and test power, volume up and volume down before closing.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
