On the Galaxy A54 5G, the USB-C charging socket sits on a small board at the bottom of the phone. Everyday plugging in, fluff and moisture wear the socket, and the phone may stop charging or lose the connection when the cable moves.
Replacing the board gives you a fresh socket. Try a different cable and plug and clean the port gently first, because a bad cable is a common cause. If the phone still does not charge with a new port, the battery or main board may need checking.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy A54 5G. The model number is shown there too and should start SM-A546B. Compare your old charging port board with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the lower panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Unplug the charging board connections, lift it out and fit the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and data before closing.
- Refit the panel and screws, then fit the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. The supplier lists this board for the Galaxy A54 SM-A546B only. The A53 5G and A55 use different charging boards.
Should I try cleaning the port first?
Yes. Fluff in the socket often stops the plug going fully in. Clean it gently with a wooden or plastic pick, never metal, and try a different cable. If charging is still faulty, the port needs replacing.
Is it made by Samsung?
