The Galaxy A57 earpiece sits at the top of the phone, above the screen, and plays the other caller's voice when you hold the phone to your ear. Dust, moisture or a drop can make it quiet, crackly or silent.
On this part the earpiece comes attached to the protective cover that sits over the main board, so the cover and earpiece are replaced together. Test with speakerphone first: if speakerphone works but the earpiece is quiet or silent, the earpiece is the likely fault. Check that a screen protector or dirt is not covering the grille.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy A57. The model number is shown there too and should start SM-A576B. Compare your old earpiece speaker with board cover with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover to soften the adhesive and lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and the upper panel, then disconnect the battery.
- Lift off the old board cover with earpiece and fit the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and make a test call before closing.
- Refit the panel and screws, then fit the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
