How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy A71 5G. The model number should start SM-A716. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Galaxy A71 5G is a different model from the 4G Galaxy A71 (SM-A715F). Check the model number, not just the name.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Warm the back cover evenly to soften the adhesive, then lift it off carefully.
- Remove the screws and inner panel, then disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unclip the old display flex from the screen connector and main board, and fit the new cable in the same path.
- Reconnect the battery and test the display, touch and brightness.
- Refit the inner panel and screws, then seal the back cover with new adhesive.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

No. It is only the flex cable that connects the screen to the main board. If your glass is cracked or the display is damaged, you need a screen instead.
