How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone and check the model name reads Galaxy M20. The model number should start SM-M205F. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM tray.
- Remove the back cover and the screws holding the inner panels.
- Disconnect the battery before touching any other connector.
- Unplug the old charging board, lift it out and fit the new one in the same position.
- Reconnect the battery and test charging and data before closing.
- Refit the inner panels, screws and back cover.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will this fit my Galaxy M20?
Yes, if Settings › About phone shows Galaxy M20 (model SM-M205F). It does not fit the Galaxy M10, M30 or A20.
Does it fit the Galaxy M30?
No. Only order this for the Galaxy M20 (SM-M205F). The M30 uses a different board.
Should I try cleaning the port first?
Yes. Fluff in the socket often stops the plug going fully in. Clean it gently with a wooden or plastic pick, never metal, and try a different cable.
Is it made by Samsung?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality charging port board made to fit the Samsung Galaxy M20, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. The back cover must be removed carefully, the battery must be disconnected first, and the small flex connectors are easy to damage.
