What this part is
The Wi-Fi Galaxy Tab S9 FE has no SIM card, but it has a small tray for a microSD card to add storage. The tray is easy to lose when changing cards, and it can bend if it is pushed in the wrong way. A missing tray also leaves an open slot where dust and water can get in.
This tray slides into the existing slot on the side of the tablet. Choose the colour that matches your tablet. It is for the Wi-Fi version only; the 5G version uses a tray that also holds a SIM card.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About tablet. The model name should read Galaxy Tab S9 FE and the model number should be SM-X510 (Wi-Fi).
If your model number ends in a different number, your tablet may be the 5G version, which uses a different tray.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the tablet off.
- Push an eject pin into the small hole beside the tray slot.
- Remove the old tray, or any broken pieces left in the slot.
- Place the microSD card in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray in gently until it sits flush with the edge.
- Power on and check the card shows in Settings › Storage.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
