What this part is
The Sony Xperia XA plays its ringtones, notification sounds, music and speakerphone calls through one loudspeaker at the bottom of the phone. Moisture, dust and drops can damage it, and the sound turns faint, fuzzy or stops.
Check the volume, Do Not Disturb and the speaker opening first. If headphones play sound normally but the speaker stays quiet or distorted, fitting a new speaker is the fix. The earpiece used for normal calls is a separate part.

How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia XA, and the model number should be F3111, F3112, F3113, F3115 or F3116. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia XA has a 5-inch screen. The Xperia XA Ultra is much larger, with a 6-inch screen and a flash on the front.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and remove the SIM and memory card trays.
- Open the phone carefully and disconnect the battery.
- Remove the covers at the bottom of the phone and take out the old speaker.
- Fit the new speaker in the same place and refit the covers.
- Reconnect the battery and test ringtones, media and speakerphone.
- Close the phone and do a final sound check.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Does it fit the Xperia XA Ultra?
No. The XA Ultra is a larger phone with its own loudspeaker, which we list separately.
Why is my speaker quiet but headphones are fine?
That usually means the speaker itself is damaged or blocked. Clean the grille first; if it is still quiet, replace the speaker.
Is it made by Sony?
No. It is a brand new, OEM-quality loudspeaker made to fit the Sony Xperia XA, and it is tested before dispatch.
Should I fit it myself?
We recommend professional installation. Opening the phone needs care, and the battery must be disconnected first.
