How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia XZ Premium, and the model number should be G8141 or G8142. This part is not for the Xperia XZ (F8331 or F8332). Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia XZ Premium has a 5.5-inch 4K screen and a mirror-like glass back. The Xperia XZ and XZs have a 5.2-inch screen.

How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off and lay it face down on a soft cloth.
- Warm the lens cover gently to soften its adhesive.
- Lift out the old cover and remove all glass and adhesive.
- Clean the area without touching the camera lens.
- Fit the new cover and press it firmly and evenly.
- Take test photos to check for haze.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.

Will it fix a blurry camera?
Only if the blur is caused by damaged glass. If the camera will not focus with the old cover removed, the camera module is at fault.

Should I fit it myself?
