How to check your model
Open Settings › About phone. The model should read Xperia Z, and the model number should be C6602 or C6603. Compare your old part with the photos before fitting.
The Xperia Z (L36h) has a 5-inch screen and a glass back, with the SIM tray behind a side flap.
Professional installation
How a technician fits this part
- Power the phone off.
- Open the side flap and pull the old tray out with a fingernail.
- Place your micro-SIM card in the new tray, gold contacts facing down.
- Slide the tray back in the right way round and close the flap fully.
- Power on and check the phone reads the SIM.
Check that the part matches the device before fitting it or removing any adhesive backing. Once a part has been fitted, it cannot be returned for a change of mind. Faulty parts are always covered.
